It’s been a full 58 years, and humans are finally back this close to the Moon! On April 6, 2026, the Artemis II crew captured an incredible photo of an 'Earthset' while they were orbiting the Moon.
The image looks a lot like the famous 'Earthrise' photo taken by astronaut Bill Anders during the Apollo 8 mission 58 years ago. After Apollo 8, Artemis II is now the 10th crewed mission sent toward the Moon.
